Agrisicilia Confettura Extra con Ficodindia - Prickly Pear Jam 360g
Agrisicilia Confettura Extra con Ficodindia dell’Etna D.O.P. – Prickly Pear Jam 360g
Sweet, sun-ripened and distinctly Sicilian
This is not an everyday jam. Made with Ficodindia dell’Etna D.O.P., the famous prickly pears grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, this extra jam captures a very specific corner of Sicily in a jar.
Prickly pear has a delicate, almost floral sweetness with soft berry-like notes and a gentle freshness. Agrisicilia uses 60g of fruit per 100g, giving the jam a naturally rich flavour and a smooth, spoonable texture that feels generous rather than overly set.
It is lovely spread on warm toast or brioche, but it also works beautifully with ricotta, yogurt or soft cheeses. If you want something a little different, try it alongside aged pecorino or stirred into desserts where you want a subtle fruit note without sharp acidity.
A simple way to bring a taste of Sicily and the slopes of Etna into your kitchen.
