Bertagni Ravioli con Pomodoro, Mozzarella e Basilico bring the familiar flavours of tomato, mozzarella and basil together inside tender fresh egg pasta. The creamy cheese filling softens the sweetness of the tomato, with basil adding a fragrant lift to each mouthful.
There is plenty to enjoy in the filling itself: mozzarella, cream and ricotta, rounded with Grana Padano and a little extra virgin olive oil. Keep the sauce simple so those flavours have room to come through – a little melted butter or olive oil, a few basil leaves and grated cheese at the table.
Serve in warm bowls for a relaxed supper, with bread ready for the last of the sauce. These ravioli make a lovely first course too, when you want something generous in flavour without a complicated plate.
