Sicilian citrus, precious saffron and the pleasure of Christmas baking
The fragrance of candied lemon and orange rises from a soft, buttery crumb, with mandarin bringing a rounded citrus sweetness. Sicilian saffron adds its distinctive aromatic character, giving this panettone a flavour that lingers gently after each bite.
Il Panettone agli Agrumi e allo Zafferano di Sicilia brings together candied Sicilian citrus peel, Sicilian mandarin paste, honey from the island and Sicilian saffron. These are ingredients with a sense of place: bright citrus balanced by the depth of saffron, folded into Fiasconaro’s naturally leavened dough.
Bring the colourful Dolce & Gabbana tin to a Christmas gathering and open it together, letting the citrus fragrance escape before cutting the first slice. Lovely with coffee after lunch, it is a thoughtful gift for someone who treasures Italian food and the unhurried pleasure of sharing something special.

About Fiasconaro
Fiasconaro’s story began in Castelbuono in 1953, in the heart of Sicily’s Madonie mountains. Generations of family pastry-making have brought a distinctly Sicilian voice to the Milanese tradition of panettone, shaped by a love of local ingredients and the patient care of naturally leavened dough.
Its panettone-making follows a journey of about three days, beginning with the sourdough starter and moving through mixing, rising, resting and baking before the cakes are turned upside down to cool. Time and careful handling help develop the fragrance and preserve the delicate structure that makes each slice such a pleasure.
Fiasconaro and Dolce & Gabbana
United in 2018 by a shared love of Sicily, beauty and Italian craftsmanship, Fiasconaro and Dolce & Gabbana bring two creative traditions to the Christmas table. Fiasconaro’s pastry expertise finds its companion in collectible tins whose vivid decoration draws on the island’s artistic heritage. The pleasure begins with choosing a gift, continues as the tin is opened and becomes something shared when the first fragrant slices are passed around.
Serving suggestion: Serve at room temperature, sliced alongside espresso or a spoonful of mascarpone cream.
