Il Vecchio Pastificio di Gragnano Fusilloni IGP 500g
Il Vecchio Pastificio di Gragnano Fusilloni IGP 500g
Generous spirals for rich ragù and chunky sauces
Large, open spirals with a firm bite and plenty of space for sauce to settle. Il Vecchio Pastificio di Gragnano’s fusilloni turn a bowl of pasta into something generous and inviting, with broad twists that gather pieces of tomato, mushrooms and slow-cooked ragù.
Made in Gragnano, Campania, from durum wheat semolina and water, the pasta is drawn through bronze dies to create a subtly rough surface. Slow drying at low temperatures completes a traditional production process that gives this pasta its distinctive character.
Fusilloni are especially well suited to sauces with texture. Try a rich beef ragù, roasted aubergine and tomato, or mushrooms cooked with garlic and parsley. The deep spirals hold small pieces of the dressing, so the sauce becomes part of each mouthful.
Finish the pasta in the pan with your sauce and a little reserved cooking water. Toss until glossy, then serve with freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino.
Cook in plenty of boiling salted water, following the packet time and tasting before draining.

About Il Vecchio Pastificio di Gragnano
Il Vecchio Pastificio di Gragnano makes artisan pasta in Gragnano, Campania, using selected durum wheat semolina and water from the town’s historic springs.
Its approach centres on bronze dies, slow drying at low temperatures and close supervision by its pasta makers. These methods give the pasta its distinctive rough surface and character, with shapes designed to make the most of their accompanying sauces.
The range carries the Pasta di Gragnano IGP designation, connecting its production to the place and pasta-making tradition behind its name.
