Craving light and airy Italian cookies and biscuits? Look no further than Mariarosa Ammoniaca Dolci, a leavening agent specifically designed for these treats.
Each 20g pack of baking ammonia (ammonium bicarbonate), works with 1kg of flour to help your dough rise beautifully in the oven.
Ideal for biscuits and shortcrust pastry.
Ammonium bicarbonate is a salt which, with the combination of the water present in the cake and the heat of the oven, transforms into carbon dioxide, thus allowing leavening. It reacts completely at 106°C, giving fragrance and crunchiness. (Not suitable for wet doughs.)
How to use: add Mariarosa Ammoniaca Dolci to the dough according to the recipe used (1 sachet for 1 kg of flour). We suggest dissolving it in warm water and mixing it into the dough. Any smell of ammonia that develops during cooking in the oven is a typical characteristic of this product and diminishes as the cakes cool until it disappears.
Ingredients: Leavening agent: carbonates of ammonium (E503ii); anti-caking agent: magnesium carbonates (E504).
Keep in a cold and dry place.
