Stracchino is one of those cheeses that feels incredibly fresh and comforting. Made from cow’s milk, it has a smooth, spreadable texture and a clean, milky flavour that is mild but deeply satisfying.
Sergio Arrigoni’s stracchino is soft and creamy with a gentle richness, but it never feels heavy. It spreads easily on warm bread and melts beautifully, making it perfect for focaccia, flatbreads or stirred into pasta at the very end for extra creaminess.
It is also lovely simply served with crusty bread, ripe tomatoes and a drizzle of good olive oil. The flavour is fresh and lactic, with a soft, slightly tangy finish that makes it incredibly moreish.
