Vergani Classic Mini Panettone in Assorted Tin 100g
Vergani Classic Mini Panettone in Assorted Tin 100g
Classic Milanese panettone, dressed in the colours of Sicily
Vergani Panettoncino Classico has a soft, buttery crumb dotted with sweet sultanas and fragrant candied orange peel. Part of Vergani’s Sicily Trip collection, it brings together Milanese Christmas baking and the vivid colours of Sicily, with decorative tins inspired by the island’s painted carts and intricate patterns.
Behind the colourful presentation is Vergani’s patient approach to baking. Angelo Vergani’s original sourdough starter is refreshed three times daily, with three days devoted to making its panettone.
Each tin contains the same classic recipe, ready to unwrap with espresso or cappuccino. A lovely stocking filler or addition to an Italian Christmas hamper, with a tin to keep long after the festive treats have been enjoyed.
Each panettone comes in one of the decorative tins pictured. Designs and colours may vary. If you have a preference, please call us on 01293 378597 and we’ll be happy to check what’s available.

About Vergani
Vergani’s story began in 1944 in Angelo Vergani’s small pastry shop on Viale Monza in Milan. His panettone soon became a favourite with Milanese families, building a family tradition rooted in the city where this Christmas cake belongs. That connection to Milan, together with carefully chosen ingredients and generations of baking knowledge, remains at the heart of Vergani.
For Vergani, making panettone means allowing time for the dough to rise, bake and rest. That care becomes part of the pleasure of opening one: the fragrance escaping from the wrapping, the first soft slice and the familiar invitation to have a little more. It is baking made for the moments when everyone gathers around the table and there is no hurry to leave.
