This Classic Italian Pandoro with strips of delicious light sweet mascarpone cream and chocolate drops dusted with soft icing sugar. Not too sweet, but delicately balanced indulgence.
Pandoro comes from the Italian phrase "pan d'oro" meaning "golden bread". This name reflects the cake's rich, golden colour due to the bread being enriched with eggs, butter, and sugar.
With a distinctive eight-pointed star shape, the Pandoro is a beloved Christmas tradition in Italy and beyond.

INGREDIENTS:
WHEAT flour, EGGS, sugar, butter (MILK), glucose-fructose syrup, chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier: SOY lecithin, flavourings), natural yeast (WHEAT), dextrose, emulsifier: mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, mascarpone (MILK), skimmed MILK powder, sunflower oil, alcohol, salt, flavourings, thickener: pectin, preservative: potassium sorbate, colouring agent: titanium dioxide. Sugar sachet (3%): powdered sugar, WHEAT starch, flavourings.

About Bauli:
In 1922, pastry chef Ruggero Bauli opened a small pastry shop in Verona Italy. He quickly gained a reputation for his delicious pastries. Growing over the years, he opened a factory in the 1950s and made his products available throughout Italy. In the 1960s, he exported across Europe and North America.
